The first issue (well, apart from a small lyric zine done in mid-85). 24pages, and a massive price of 35p! Contents were a Rat & Bryn interview, taken from the pic discs that came out around the time, a look back over 1985 and a look forward to 1986, a Damned quiz, press quotes on Strawberries, lyrics to Smash It Up from Japanese import ("Smash It Up - and you can be a Christian mother" for example!), a fairly hefty rarities article (with many a mistake, which is why I'm not putting it up here!), a Damned questionnaire thing from NME '77, plus various music fanzine reviews, as well as the Ramones at Glasgow Barrowlands 1985. Editorial stated "I know this is a cliche, but if you think this fanzine is crap then do better yourself". I've got to say... it's a bit crap! Some very dodgy layouts, but fuck it, first issue... you can get away with that sorta thing. None of it is worth putting up though... too much from other sources. So... NEXT!
